Being invaded and invading.

[1]Abah, Mama, Zaki The Invader, and Ustaz Al-Hafiz Ubaidillah (but also a gamer, huh?) came to the house on Friday. They slept over at our small apartment. Ah, pity them. Have to sleep on the floor. Wait till we kaya OK?

Then on Saturday, me and the kid's slept over at Ayah Chik's. 'Tis the reason I had to change my flight. Apparently MIL had informed my dear husband about the wedding, but somehow he just didn't register it in his head. Bet he had too much tabligh stuff in there :P

Anyway, Ayah Chik's new bungalow is awesome. In total, it has 9 rooms. Wonder why they didn't make it 10 :P

Actually, what impressed me is the wall paper. You know, the golden embosed stuff? Ggrr... very the tak aci hehehe.

People kept on asking me where's my husband, and I actually didn't know what to say. I just say, he's outstation. Ayoyo susah juge mao jadik bini mat tabligh hoho. Takkan la nak explain panjang lebar kot kat everybody?

He saved the day by coming very early in the morning for the kenduri.

Before Zuhur, we left and he dumped, I mean, ferried me home. Then off he went to continue his tabligh thingy. The kids and me had the apartment for ourselves. Yezzaa.....

Munching snacks, watching tv, sleeping, playing puzzles, more sleeping and munching and tv... syioknya!!!

Funny that I found Ailin, my srikandi friend, [she reads my blog too!] at the wedding. Such a small world hehe. She doesn't change a lot, except for the dimension and weight hehe jangan marah haaa Ailin, aku pon sama. And, she looks cuter when she dons the tudung back at school :)

[2]His identity is finally revealed.

[3]Tommorrow I'll be invading K.Ina's house in Shah Alam for lunch and family meeting, and then off I go to KLIA to catch my night flight.

Bye bye Mat Tabligh. We're gonna miss you sroot sroot.

Aini, jangan nak perasan.

I didn't catch any fever. It just that the old template had few limitations. Like, the title didn't appear. So, I had to write my own title by using the bold code. Then, I couldn't slot in any comments form. Not even blogger's.

When myshoutbox started having problems, that's it. I just had to change my blog's template. So, here we are :D

Being me, I had again chose a very simple skin, yet cute. Simplicity is always the best choice. I've made some changes a little bit here and there, to make it even cleaner. For example, the posts are justify-aligned.

And now that I have Haloscan and Cbox, you people can shout a lot louder :D

Keep those comments coming!

[1]Ini dia jawapan bagi permasalahan agama anda. Aku cilok from BicaraMuslim.com hehe.

Ibn Qudamah r.h. didalam Al-Mughni berkata :

[2]Yesterday, I went to KL Sentral. Not to poya-poya kay? Need to change our flight to JB to next Monday. As if I can't do it through phone la kan? :P

That's the main agenda. Other than that, I've stocked up my office supply of chocolate  and err, skodeng that guy to check if he still works there. Oh my God, he's still there :P

Ngeee apsal la ko hensem banget. Kaget aku.

Oi!
Aa?
Ko bini orang ler.
Ha ah la. Hehehe.

[3]OK, on Ahmad's birthday.

His birthday falls on 18 Dec, i.e. last Sunday. I've bought his present on Friday, so this was what happened on Friday.

"Apa dalam paper bag tu?"
"Adalah."
"Mesti hadiah birthday gua."
"Aa? @#$%&$#! Perasannya. Menyampah."

His mother and sister were also in the car. Chait! Buat malu gua saja :P

Anyway, I gave him a pyjamas. Another pyjamas. Hehe.

I think he's becoming like me. Because he truly loves his new pyjamas. Wears it all the time, day in day out. Always asking me, where's my pyjamas?

Heh.

I don't blame him, coz his pyjamas is very comfy. (I know, I've tried hehe) No, not the Made In China RM19.90 pyjamas la dong. This one, the expensive Byford pyjamas. Dah la takde diskaun ggrr.

Actually takde la mahal sgt pon :D Saja je over acting.

Furthermore, the value of love is like, to infinity and beyond --> sila baca dengan intonasi suara Buzz Lightyear :P

[4]Sebut pasal Buzz Lightyear, tiba-tiba aku rasa nak gelak.

Satu hari, Ahmad ajak Ameer naik motor. Pegi pasar kat Pantai Dalam. Mereka pakai helmet. Tiba-tiba, di muka pintu, Ahmad berpaling.

"Amik gambar saya."
"Aa?"

Dia posing gaya Ultraman.

Ya Allah! Nak tergolek aku time tu. Sekarang pon rasa macam nak guling. Nasib baik kat opis :P

Talking won't do the trick.

I should have learn by now that she's trying to say,"Mama, I've pooed. Could you please clean my butt?" when she babbles aah eeh nonstop in the wee hour of the morning. Instead of ignoring her, putting her on the breast and trying to get back to sleep, thinking that she would eventually stop and go zzzzzz, I should have wake up and do the dirty job in order for the babbling to end.

Dearie, Mama wouldn't understand your language. I'll understand BM, English, a little bit of Javanese, a little bit of Kelantanese, but not baby talk. No use talking to me. Especially at 3 in the morning.

Instead, cry.

Kepada Sou, Khad, Zaza, Sarah, Alia & Hana (ni nama cousin Sarah kan?), nice knowing y'all! Nanti kita berpoya2 lagi kay?

[2]Budak!
Aaa?
Kita boleh selebret krismas tak?
Tak boleh.
Err scopenya macamana tu?
Perayaan keagamaan tak boleh sambut. Kalau bukan bersangkut paut dengan agama, boleh. Contohnya Chinese New Year.

Kalau ucapkan selamat out of courtesy, sekadar berbudi bahasa, ye la orang timur kan penuh dengan kesopanan dan kesusilaan, mungkin boleh, as long as masa kita ucapkan tu dalam hati kita, tak redha dengan agama lain selain Islam.

Kalau korang,"eh krismas lah, jom tukar-tukar hadiah nak?", haaaa memang kena perbetulkan niat.

p/s: bagi hadiah kat aku sekali ek? tapi aku tanak bagi :P

[3]Berkenaan Sisters In Islam pula.

Hehe. Sorry la semalam aku takleh nak input, sebab kadar penaakulan otak aku agak lembap. Kalau zaman sekarang orang guna Pentium 4, aku masih lagi pakai 486 muakakakaka.

When boss not around.

>> Tuesday, December 13, 2005

My tanduk had emerged underneath the tudung yesterday. Boss was not in, and it's not good to throw away a good opportunity. As the old saying goes, rezeki jangan ditolak.

I had initially planned to go to MidValley. But then, a taxi driver refused me by saying that his car won't be able to enter that area. I was like, eh?

So, change of plans. I head to the lrt, and made a pit stop at Kl Sentral for lunch. Me being cheeky .. i mean, chicky person, as usual ate KFC. You must have been wondering why I never get bored with chickens. Well dear, chickens never go wrong. No matter how you cook, they just taste great!

[Background music: I feel like chicken tonite, like chicken tonite!]

Eh, what with chicken stories :P Back to me please.

Then I boarded the lrt again to Pasar Seni station and headed to Uda Ocean, a place where I used to hang out before. While Aini loves her Maidin, I love my UO hahahaha.

I went there for two reasons:
i) luggage
ii) pyjamas :P

And yeah, I've found the cheapest luggage I've seen so far. The same luggage would cost nearly RM200 at Jaya Jusco with only 10% discount, and some shops in Midvalley having their sales right now, offered RM150. The one in UO was priced at RM130.

Now.. all I need to do is to bribe Mat Tabligh to drive me here this weekend :P

Don't you think it's high time for me to learn driving hhmm?

And to my delight, I found the cheapest pyjamas in town hahahaha. Bought two matching pajamas, long sleeves for me, short sleeves for him ahem. One at RM19.90.

Actually, it was intended to be his birthday present, yes I'm a cheapskate :P but I was so excited with my new pyjamas, well you know me and my liking towards pyjamas & nighties, so I wore it last night.

And he went, no pyjamas for me?

Err...

So the secret was broken :P

To make it worse, he also wore his as we went to Abe Har's place at Shah Alam.

If you saw a couple wearing matching pyjamas, that, could be us.

Eee malunya.

Now I have to think of another birthday present for him :P

Oh, anyway, the taxi driver was right. I saw from the lrt that the traffic to MidValley was bad. Luckily I went to my favourite mall of all time, UO.

:P

Home Deco, Not!

The furnitures get new arrangement. Again. If you asked me, I preferred the status quo. But when the man who-makes-decisions-in-the-house decides, there's no point saying buts.

He was frustrated with the condition of the hall. Things were everywhere. And he blamed it on the tv and PC. Since these two important entertainment things were in the living room, we (refers to my tv-addicted son, and his equally addicted mom) had this laid back attitude towards the room. We had pillows, blankets, and toto (nope, I do not mean lottery ticket :P) were on the floor. Ameer worsen the place by scattering his toys all around, when he was supposed to play in his room only.

Ah so much so of his own room :P

So the man who-makes-decisions-in-the-house-and-you-couldn't-say-no transferred the tv and PC into the guest/prayer room. Guests, especially The Invaders, would enjoy these facilities in the privacy of their room whenever they come to the house. Now, where do we pray then eh?

The living hall.

Yes, my living hall now looks like a surau.

So if you come to my house and say, can i use your room to pray?, I'll say, just pray in the living hall dear.

Bizarre.

I wonder where he will hang the white board, where he writes his Hadis Harian. Not the living hall I hope.

:P

Ameer gets a helmet.

>> Friday, December 09, 2005

His father brought home a cute yellow helmet last night. That, prior to my nagging on motorbike safety. No matter how close the shop is, your child's safety should never be jeopardized. And I've read the news in The Star few days ago on the statistics of death toll caused by head injuries. Pot pet pot pet until he got bored.

OK back to the helmet. It's cute. Really.

The yellow is very bright, and then it got four Donald Duck leaping here and there.

But I wonder why Ameer always wear his helmet backward?

Like Luke wearing his baseball cap.

"Err macam tak je muekekeke. Dah lama tak bawak motor. Wa kena belajar pusing-pusing area sini dulu."
"Scary tak tadi kat highway?"
"Scary giler. Kereta swoosh swoosh laju."

So, when will I ever going to get my part of ala sembilu romantic scene on the federal highway eh? I'm one scared mouse :P

"Haa apsal helmet gua tak cun? Lu punya ada visor?"
"Tak best la gua punya. Tak selesa banding ngan lu punya."

Okay, if you said so hehe.

"Helmet Ameer mana?"

[1]Teehee.

Played truant for half of the working day.

[2]Went to Tabung Haji, Jalan Ampang in the morning to update our account book. All this while, I had been depositing our money via Bank Islam so we had no idea how much we have actually. Reached the counter quite early in the morning since the "kaunter mesra" supposedly opened at 7.30 a.m. Well, the counter did open at 7.30 but out of 12 available counters, only one was opened to serve quite a number of people.

Ggrr.

So I waited with not much patience.

And waited, and waited.

Finally it's my turn. A big smile was waiting for me behind the counter. Uh oh, okaaaayyy.

"Assalamualaikum."

Pleasantly he greeted me. The frown in my face slowly subdued. As I asked him to do this and that, he patiently did it for me. All my questions were answered politely and never without a smile at the end of his sentence.

Oh my God. How can I be angry when he's so nice and all?

I had initially wanted to put my ticket into the Tidak Memuaskan box, but after meeting the guy behind the counter, I totally forgot about it. I guess his pleasant manner had compensate for the time I had to wait.

Furthermore, the figures printed in the account books made me grinning non stop. Teehee :still grinning:

After settling my stuff at the counter, I went up to Level 30 to the Kaunter Pengendalian Haji to double check our hajj registration. Smilingly, the guy told us that we had registered to go next year (gagagaga) but it all depends on the quota that Saudi government gave us. He said that usually the offer letter will be sent on April, and I can even call them to check.

I better put it here just in case I lost the paper.

Bahagian Pengendalian Haji, Tingkat 30
03-2054 2381
03-2054 2382

Why the Tabung Haji people so nice? Very the anti climax hoho.

[3]I reached the lrt station at about 9.30 a.m. Again my patience was being tested.

Doesn't it irk you when the other side of the platform has trains every 1 minute, and yours is like, forever?

On top of that, I missed 2 trains because of the traffic and then there's one chinese guy in front talking on the phone, totally blocking me from entering the train. Hello?? If you want to jiwang or whatever, get your butt out of my way boleh tak?

Ggrr.

And like Lynn's new boss, I'll get even angrier when I'm hungry hahaha.

So I made a pit stop at KL Sentral to have a big breakfast. Yummy!

:burp:

I knew that I'll be late for office, but heck... alang-alang menyeluk pekasam, biar sampai ke pangkal lengan MUAHAHAHA.

Better late than never eh?

[4]Checked out Guardian, and bought more chocolates.

Checked out the clearance sale. Thought of buying shoes, but none was close to my liking.

Saw nice floral smocking dress. Damn! Wish I have a daughter that big. There's no point buying the dress for Zahra now, when she will only get to wear it 2 to 3 years later. By that time, it will be out of fashion hoho.

My fingers were itching to buy the dress for other people's kids. I had already took two dresses but luckily my conscience told me to put them back where they belong hohoho.

I truly need to refrain. Mat Tabligh had advised me about over and unnecessary spending ngeee.

But I wonder why, everytime I went to window shop I'll ended up buying pyjamas or night gown.

Ada apa dengan pyjamas ya?

This time it's a pink and white polka dot cotton pyjamas at RM29.90.

Hehe... I'll deal with Mat Tabligh later. Wish me luck!

[5]Sneaked into the office at around 11.15 a.m.
