I'm 28 meh?

Well, not that my age matters anyway. Because it so happens that I look older than my age. If not, the VP won't appoint me as a manager at the age of 27 (which I detest till today). If not, the trainer (from the training I just got back from), won't go,"Oh, anak-anak you kecik lagi" and gave me that apologic smile when I informed him that I'm just 28. If not, one of my colleague wouldn't be startled when she was told that K.A is my senior by 4 years.

I went on making a joke of it by saying,"Is it because she looks young, or I look old?? and laugh.

....

but ermm... I guess, I do wound inside. Kinda sad when people think I'm older than my age. Kinda sad when people say I'm fat.

.............................................................................. err, what wif all this drama thing? Sooo lemau.

I was at Residence Hotel @ Uniten attending a two-day workshop when I received two smses, saying something like, happy 28th birthday.

I was like, hellooooo people? I am still 27 okay? My birthday is only due on 29th March, which is another 7 days to go.

I am not that old. Yet.

Bah. Imagine how freaky it is when I reach twenty nine. Which is the borderline to thirty.

Gasp! Thirty? That, would be even freakier.

[2]I've learned that if you want your kids to do something, you'll need some enticement. Like, for example, to promote diaper-free environment, you'll need to blind them with cute undies, so that they'll say bye bye huggies, hello undies.

To date, Ameer has spiderman, ultraman and few soccerballs undies. Of course the one with small prints of soccerball all over is his favorite.

But shall I add, you may have to deal with pant-less kids. They goes around the house in tops and undies only.

Also, fellow younger kid who gets jealous for not getting her own undies. OK dear, when your time comes, I'll get you Princess undies hmm?

The ferry operator knocked on the driver window, and gestured to stop the car engine as the ferry left the jetty. Without the aircondition, the humid heat inside the car was unbearable. Feeling hot and dizzy, I got out of the car.

The moment I opened the door, I could feel the rush of seabreeze, roughly swept my cheek. It was refreshing. After days of hardwork in the Workshop, the hoohah over pirated DVD at Penang's night market, the craze over fresh ketam by the beach of Tanjung Bungah, finally came peace.

Silently I stood by the ferry, watching the bubbles as the ferry glided across the sea. The seabreeze smelt of salt water, fish and oil from the ferry engine. The sky looks blue and the clouds white, fluff like candy cotton. My brain seemed to stop working and worrying, just absorbing the beautiful scenery.

Masya Allah. God is indeed, the Great Creator.

It would have been better if I could share that wonderful moment with my beloved husband.

....

Who, at that very moment, might happily be playing games twenty four by seven, nag-free.
