Being the person responsible to ensure that the new system would fulfil its objective, I gave my fullest attention to the Eurasian, who flew from US specifically to have better understanding of the company's requirement.

By giving my fullest attention I meant, watching intensely at his sharp nose, deep eyes and arch brow, the way he moves his lip and listening to the way he sounds.
